We feel very lucky to be working with Tuddenham Mill, a restaurant and hotel that has won more accolades than you can shake a stick at, and continues to delight and impress critics year after year. In 2018, it has the highest rating for the county in the Good Food Guide as well as notable awards from the AA.
As self-confessed foodies, we jumped at the chance to support the team through a refresh of the positioning and strategic approach used to market this jewel in Suffolk’s crown. The key objective is to increase the number of profitable sales. This team is driven by enthusiasm and energy.
We hit the ground running with a plan for the first three months, the lead up to Christmas. We tried a few different tactics to see which worked best. We helped to tweak internal processes to capitalise on the enquiries we were bringing in. We communicated constantly with the team to gauge activity and measure success. We took a look back and devised the plan for the following year based on what we’ve learnt in the first three months.
We continue to work very closely with the team at Tuddenham Mill, under the direction of Chef Patron, Lee Bye. We manage the plan, monitor progress and undertake the marketing activity – from PR to email marketing to social media promotions and much, much more. It’s a project we are passionate about and are happy to report a positive effect on the figures from month one of our involvement.
