Tickets for a touring circus

When, in 2016, the wonderful team at Mr Bean Entertainments approached us about supporting them in launching a new touring circus, we were a little daunted. We don’t shy away from new things and take a methodical approach to marketing with every client – and trust me, no two are the same. However this one felt very alien at first.
As with all our clients, these guys knew the market and had experience working with circuses before setting up their children’s entertainment business years ago. This industry knowledge and experience was vital to this project. We talked for hours about what other circuses do, throwing around new ideas and looking at where we could leverage new technologies and trends in marketing and promotion to drive awareness and ticket sales. After a marathon kick off meeting and brainstorming session we had the clarity and confidence we needed to put a strategic marketing plan in place for the fabulous Circus Petite.
We devised a plan that included online listings, creative marketing materials, PR, social media, email marketing, strategic partnerships and collaboration opportunities. We helped to source great venues and we looked at pricing and promotions. We even helped the team to find a great online booking system through our friends at Ticket Gun.
The first tour was a success and we have worked with Circus Petite on numerous subsequent tours. They now do two a year and bring in some of the best acts from across Europe. The most recent tour was the best yet, visiting some areas for the very first time. We’re a partnership with the team at Circus Petite and we’re thrilled to be involved in their continued success.
